What I took from 2013!

Hey Everyone! First of all Happy New Year! During 2013 I learned great lessons and habits and I want to share with you some of them.

 • Read like crazy! I started reading the books from Game of Thrones the past year. Got bored after 6 books ( in Portuguese they split each book into 2, so I read up to season 3) and stopped reading. I came across some videos from a guy named Tyler from RSD. He talks about picking up girls and how that can better ones life, by self development. In these speeches he sometimes talks about books, and I’m reading them. Started with the 4 Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, then some Eckhart Tolle and now I’m reading The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. In the section Archive of the website you can check the books I have read until now. Start today!
 • Relax and let things slide. I learned this during my InterRail. Sometimes I got a little upset for no reason. By saying “let things slide” I don’t mean not to plan things and not having a purpose, I mean just worrying about the things you can control, do your best planing stuff but after that just relax.
 • Don’t judge people and don’t try to change them. Also during the InterRail, I got upset because some of my friends didn’t behave the way I expected them to. First, you have to let go, it’s not you responsibility to change anyone! You can’t force your reality in anyone, the only way is if they come to you looking for advice, then you can help them. This was a big one for me this year and of course I’m still working on it.

These were the big lessons I learned during the past year of 2013. I made a video about the subject, feel free to leave a comment telling me your biggest lesson from 2013. Have an awesome year!
